how I work

"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it."
– Steve Jobs

"The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can’t find them, make them."
- George Bernard Shaw

Career satisfaction can be hard to find

It is easy for us to figure out what we don’t like in our work but find it difficult to identify what would truly bring us career satisfaction and happiness.

How many times have you heard : “Well if you are not happy at work then change.” And how many knots in the stomach have you gotten just trying to figure out what you wanted and how to go on about it?

The coaching relationship is a partnership

We both sculpt it together and give each other feedback. And even though I am there to support you on your journey and am committed to assist you, it is you who ultimately will be responsible for the actions that you take (or not take) throughout this whole process.
You will
  • Discover what you are good at
  • Move beyond your often self imposed limitations
  • Reorganize your career to look like you want
  • Create yourself a better and happier life
As your coach, I will
  • Have your best interest in mind
  • Be dedicated to guide you towards creating the life you’ve been itching to have
  • Listen to you, encourage you, motivate you, ask questions and maybe challenge you
  • Keep you accountable on the path to your goal

The methodology for success

We will be working with a 4 step methodology:

1. Discover who you areKnowing and understanding yourself (who you are, what you do best, how you excel and what inspires, fascinates and drives you) is an essential first step towards a successful and happy career. Through a series of tests and assessments, you will discover your values, interests, motivations, skills and abilities.

2. Evaluate where you are right now. We first evaluate what’s happening in your life right now and take a closer look at what you have to offer in the workplace and what holds you back from offering it. Greater understanding of the problems and dilemmas you are facing, or have faced in the past, provides a framework for planning your future.

3. State what you wantWe go through what you want your future situation to look like. Do you want to make a particular decision about a job or career move? Understand your current problems and dilemmas? Gain knowledge about your strengths? Generate a list of career options? Make a plan to improve your work-life balance? Increase your self-awareness?

4. Set up how to get thereWe will work on the possible ways to achieve what you want through goal setting, a winning attitude and a career and learning plan. Resume cover letter evaluation can also be done.

Don’t limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe, you can achieve.
